The Houlton Humane Society has contracted with Hills science pet food program to provide a regular supply of high-quality and nutritious food for the animals, but we still accept donations of pet food for our pet food pantry. This pantry helps provide food to families who need help feeding their own pets.
The shelter can always use supplies, including:
cat litter
canned cat and dog food
dog and cat treat and/or toys
bleach
paper towels
kitten formula
laundry soap
dish soap
computer paper
Windex
blankets/sheets
litter boxes or food dishes
hand soap
gloves
garbage bags (33 gallon)
cotton balls / qtips
The shelter can always use volunteers if you want to donate a few hours a week of your time. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
If you might have two hours a week, think how much difference in you can make in the life of these homeless animals. Help socialize the cats, walk the dogs, run a fund raiser (you could collect bottles or sell some sweets!).
